The primary medicinal ingredient in this blend, Wormwood, is a well-known and effective vermifuge. It has been recommended for treating a variety of worm infestations. The blend also contains Black seed, which, when combined with Wormwood, is especially effective in killing and expelling parasites including roundworm, tapeworm and hookworm. D-wormer can also be used to control fleas and lice. All of the herbs in this blend work together to improve digestion and to ensure your pet is healthy and free of parasites!
Main properties of the formula’s ingredients:
Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) - a bitter tonic that is capable of expelling worms. It has long been used as an insect repellent and assists in the fight against ticks and fleas.
Male Fern root (Dryopteris felix-mas) contains Filicic acid as an active constituent. Taken internally, it is excellent for helping to expel intestinal parasites, specifically tapeworm and hookworm.
Black seed (Nigella sativa) - traditionally, this herb promotes digestion and fights parasitic infections and infestations.
Sage leaf (Salvia officinalis) - traditionallly referred to as the “spring cleaner”, this herb helps to expel worms.
Fennel seed (Foeniculum vulgare) - used traditionally as a cleanser. It also works more specifically to expel worms.
Papaya leaf (Carica papaya) - the powerful digestive herb is useful in aiding the eradication of parasites from the body.
